Using KAIROS

Short, and in plain words. These are the rules for using KAIROS. What KAIROS stores is a separate page: Privacy.

What KAIROS does

You upload a video. KAIROS analyses it and gives you back where each shot and key moment starts and ends, a description of each, the transcript, a search over all of it, and a highlight video cut from the moments you keep. It is operated by the KAIROS team.

Your account

• You need an account, and a workspace is created for you on first sign-in.
• Keep your sign-in to yourself. What happens under your account is treated as done by you.
• One person, one account. Do not sign up to get around a limit you have reached.
• Your workspace has a plan, and the plan caps how much you can upload and analyse. A bigger plan is arranged by email, not bought in the app.

What you may upload

• Only material you hold the rights to. Broadcast footage you do not own does not belong here, and this is the rule that matters most.
• Nothing unlawful, and nothing that would be a crime to hold.
• You stay responsible for what you upload. KAIROS analyses it; it does not publish it, and it stays private to your workspace.
• To report something that should not be here, email privacy@kairosapp.tech. It will be reviewed and, where justified, removed.

What KAIROS does not promise

• The analysis is produced by AI models. It is often good and it is sometimes wrong. Check it before you rely on it, and do not use it as the only basis for a decision that matters.
• KAIROS is provided as it is. There is no promise that it is available, that it is free of faults, or that it fits a particular purpose.
• Keep your own copy of anything you care about. KAIROS is not a backup service, and storage can fail.

Suspension, and ending it

• You can delete an upload at any time, and you can ask for your account and everything in it to be removed.
• Access can be suspended or removed for breaking the rules above — uploading material you have no rights to, or using KAIROS to attack it or anyone else.
• KAIROS can be changed, or stopped. If it is stopped, you will be told before your uploads go.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The date at the foot of this page says when they last did. Continuing to use KAIROS after a change means the new version applies.
